4 oz skinless salmon, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil spray
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup diced ripe mango
1 large avocado, diced
1/2 cup diced strawberries
1/2 jalapeño, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Pat salmon bites dry with paper towels.
Toss salmon in a bowl with oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and cayenne.
Arrange salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring pieces don’t overlap.
Air fry for 3 minutes, then flip bites carefully and continue air frying for another 4 minutes, until golden and crisp.
While salmon cooks, mix mango, avocado, strawberries, jalapeño, lime juice, and cilantro in a bowl.
Serve salmon bites warm or at room temperature immediately after cooking, topped with salsa.
For extra crunch, toss salmon with panko breadcrumbs before air frying. Salsa can be made 1-2 days ahead and stored in the fridge. Adjust jalapeño quantity for desired heat. Use a fork and spatula for flipping to avoid breaking the salmon.
