1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon peeled and grated ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice or kiwi puree
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine soy sauce, lime juice, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, pineapple juice (or kiwi puree), and black pepper in a bowl.
Pour marinade into a ziplock bag or dish and add 1.5 lbs beef (flank or sirloin work best).
Seal bag and massage marinade into beef. Marinate 2-3 hours (or overnight in fridge).
Preheat grill, pan, or air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook beef 10-15 minutes total, searing well for crispy edges.
Let rest 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
