1 lb ground beef
8 oz uncooked pasta (shells, elbow, or penne)
1 cup diced tomatoes with liquid
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup water or beef broth
Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess fat
Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet; cook until softened
Transfer mixture to the slow cooker
