  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

3. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

4. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the shrimp.

6. Roast in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until shrimp are pink and opaque.

7. Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.

8. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For best results, use large or extra-large shrimp.

Do not overcook the shrimp or they may become rubbery.
