Moist, flavorful meatballs made in an air fryer with ground beef and lamb for a halal-friendly twist. These easy-to-make orbs offer a crispy exterior and juicy interior, perfect with marinara, over polenta, or as appetizers. Ready in 30 minutes with no oil or pork.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground lamb
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing)

Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 375°F
Combine beef, lamb, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Mix gently until just combined
Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs
Place on air fryer basket lined with parchment paper
Lightly brush olive oil over meatballs
Air fry for 12-15 minutes until cooked through and golden
