These Mint Oreo Truffles are a rich, creamy, and irresistible no-bake dessert! Made with crushed mint Oreos, cream cheese, and coated in smooth chocolate, these bite-sized treats are perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, or any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted (for coating)
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or chocolate drizzle for decoration

Instructions

1. Crush the Oreos – Use a food processor or place the Oreos in a sealed bag and crush them into fine crumbs with a rolling pin.

2. Mix with Cream Cheese – In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and smooth.

3. Shape the Truffles – Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. Chill – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.

5. Melt the Chocolate – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. If using white chocolate, you can add green food coloring.

6. Coat the Truffles – Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.

7. Decorate – Add sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle with extra chocolate before the coating sets.

8. Chill Again – Place the truffles back in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.

9. Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

To prevent cracks, don’t freeze truffles too long before dipping them in chocolate.

For smoother melted chocolate, add a teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening.

Use a fork or dipping tool for even chocolate coating.

For an extra minty flavor, add a few drops of peppermint extract to the chocolate or cream cheese mixture.
